Item 6A

ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS.

Development & Administrative Services, Redevelopment Division - Friends of the
Bandshell (FOB) Funds Request (pp. 5-15)

Resolution approving The Friends of the Banshell (FOB) request in the amount
of $30,000 to support the traditional Summer Concert Series at the Bandshell for the
2018 season. Funds will be used to pay part of the cost for 19 nights of freworks at the
Pier including the large Fourth of July display. The amount is the same as approved
last year. Supporting events at the Bandshell is consistent with the goals and policies
of the Main Street Redevelopment Plan. Funds available in the Main Street
Community Redevelopment Trust Fund.

Recommendation: Redevelopment Director recommends adoption of the Resolution.
Action: Motion to adopt the Resolution.

6B. City Manager's Offce - Sale of City Owned Property - 39 & 45 South Ocean Ave.

Resolution approving a sale of City owned parcels of real estate located at 39 and 45
South Ocean Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida to Avista Properties, VII, LLC in the
amount of $2,683,000 and authorizing the City Manager to enter into and execute an
agreement with Avista Properties, VII, LLC.

James V. Chisholm, City Manager, to report.

Recommendation: City Manager recommends adoption of the Resolution.
Action: Motion to adopt the Resolution.
