Item 4 - Rezoning, Midtown Master Plan, DEV2013-097 (Quasi-Judicial Hearing)
A request by the Development and Administrative Services Department, Redevelopment Division to rezone the Midtown Redevelopment Area to be consistent with the adopted Midtown Master Plan / Redevelopment Plan. The Midtown Redevelopment Area is 598.82 acres and is located generally in the area bounded by the F.E.C. Railroad on the east, George W. Engram Boulevard on the north, Nova Road on the west, and Orange Avenue on the south. The Midtown Redevelopment Area also extends south on Martin Luther King Boulevard to Shady Place.

A request by John Matts to rezone 0.03± acres of land located at 516 Main Street from Specialty Retail (RDB-2) to Specialty Retail Historic (RDB-2-H) in order to preserve a historically significant commercial structure in the Main Street Redevelopment Area that is also a contributing structure in the Daytona Beach Surfside National Historic District.
