Item 7 - ACTION ITEM: LARGE-SCALE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT,
DEV2013-082, Midtown Future Land Use
Administrative request to amend Future Land Use and Redevelopment Elements of the City’s Comprehensive Plan to amend the designated Future Land Use for certain parcels along major corridors in the Midtown Redevelopment Area to be consistent with the adopted Midtown Master Plan/Redevelopment Plan. The Midtown Redevelopment Area is 598.82 acres and is located in the area bounded by the F.E.C. Railroad on the east, George W. Engram Boulevard on the north, Nova Road on the west, and Orange Avenue on the South. The Midtown Redevelopment Area also extends south Martin Luther King Boulevard to Shady Place.
