Item 4 - Rezoning to Planning Development – Redevelopment (PD-RD), Daytona
Beach Wawa PD-R, DEV 2016-027, (Quasi-Judicial Hearing)
A request by Glenn D. Storch, P.A., on behalf of Riverland Gas & Oil, Inc.,
Suntrust Banks, Inc., and Dorice Marie Soroka, et al, to rezone 3.5± acres of land
located at the corner of S. Ridgewood Ave. and W. International Speedway Blvd.
from Redevelopment Downtown – Commercial (RDD-3) to Planned
Development-Redevelopment (PD-RD), to allow for the development of a 6,119
sq. ft. commercial retail building and gas station, and associated site
improvements; and to approve the Daytona Beach Wawa Planned District
agreement.

A request by Redevelopment Division to rezone the following Planned Districts
in the Downtown Redevelopment Area to Redevelopment Base Zoning Districts.
a) Former Cosmopolitan (RPUD): Change from PD-G to RDD-4 (Riverfront
Mixed Use).
b) Former Garden Roof Villas (RPUD), Live Oak Inn PD-RD & Old
Daytona: Change from PD-G, PD-RD, T-2, SFR-5 to RDD-6 (Downtown
Residential).
