Case A - BP2017-0001 – 408 Dr. Mary M . Bethune Boulevard – Appeal of Notice of
Condemnation and Demolition Order
The prior owner, Devdatta Mohan Bhogte, as Director of Prism Residential Services, Inc.,
requested an appeal the City of Daytona Beach’s Chief Building Official’s determination to
condemn the structure located at 408 Dr. Mary M. Bethune Boulevard due to unsafe
conditions; and the determination that the building must be demolished. Prior to the January
15, 2019 Board of Building Codes meeting, the property was sold to Marvin Construction,
LLC. At the January 15, 2019 meeting, the Board voted to continue the case to March 19,
2019.
Case A - BP2018-040 – 508 Gibson Street – Appeal of Notice of Condemnation and
Demolition Order
A request by George Miles, property owner, to appeal the City of Daytona Beach’s Chief
Building Official’s determination to condemn the structure located at 508 Gibson Street due
to unsafe conditions; and the determination that the building must be demolished. At the
February 19, 2019 meeting, the Board voate to a continue the case to March 19, 2019.
