Items 6 - 8 - 6. Preliminary Plat – Williamson Business Park, DEV2013-128 (Quasi Judicial Hearing)
A request by Parker Mynchenberg, on behalf of Jeff Robbins with Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co., to approve a Preliminary Plat for 9.85± acres of land located at 1160 North Williamson Boulevard, to subdivide the existing development into four lots.
7. Special Use Permit – Our Lady of Lourdes, DEV2013-131 (Quasi Judicial Hearing)
A request by Joseph Hopkins, P.E., on behalf of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, located at 201 University Boulevard, for a Special Use Permit to operate a carnival (Italian Festival) on the church grounds from Thursday, May 1 to Sunday, May 4, 2014; and from Thursday, April 16 to Sunday, April 19, 2015.

Rezoning, Planned Redevelopment District – Screamers Park, DEV2013-100 (Quasi Judicial Hearing) A request by Parker Mynchenberg, on behalf of the property owners, Nissim Ben Shoaff and Yehuda Morali, and the developer, Daytona Thrill Park, LLC, to rezone 0.3± acre of land located at 25 S. Atlantic Avenue from Atlantic Avenue Retail (RDB-5) to Planned Redevelopment (PRD) for the purpose of establishing three amusement rides and a restroom/concessions building, and to approve a site plan for same.

Dowdy, EdD with Bethune-Cookman University to approve the first amendment to the approved Comprehensive Sign Plan (CSP) for Bethune-Cookman University (BCU), to include a campus directional and information electronic message center (EMC) sign and the use of static graphics, multiple background, foreground and text colors in both campus EMC signs.

Michael Witters with MidWest Transit, Inc., for approval of a Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment, changing the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designation from Level 1 Residential, Interchange Commercial, and Retail to Mixed Use, for 158± acres of land generally located at the northwest corner of US92/ West International Speedway Boulevard and North Tomoka Farms Road; and amending issues and policies to Neighborhood “U” of the Future Land Use Element, to regulate the maximum units of individual land uses that can be allowed within the existing MidWest Transit, Inc. property with corresponding traffic, water and sewer maximum demands.
